Well-being Speed Meet: Nutrition, Sport, and Mental Health

Well-being Speed Meet: Nutrition, Sport, and Mental Health is an event designed for young people in Romania, particularly high school students and university students, offering participants the chance to interact directly with specialists in fields essential to their physical and emotional well-being. In a dynamic and interactive format, over the course of three hours, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with experts in nutrition, sport, and mental health, receiving answers and practical solutions for their specific needs. The event will take place on November 22, at Zbor Hub Cluj, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The current context in Romania highlights a growing number of young people facing high levels of stress, mental health issues, unhealthy eating habits, and a sedentary lifestyle. Through this Speed Meet, we aim to provide young people with the resources they need to take steps towards improving their overall well-being and to build a community eager to develop healthy habits for the future.

Well-being Speed Meet encourages a new way of thinking about health, thanks to its format, which mirrors the fast pace of everyday life. The flexibility and dynamic nature of the open discussions create an informal yet intense learning environment, where specialists and participants together view health as a whole, understanding the connections between nutrition, physical activity, and mental health. The event can be seen as a source for quickly exploring various topics of interest in one session, encouraging active participation and direct involvement from every student.

As organizers, we are committed to engaging in a local integrative movement, providing young people with the confidence to start building a healthy and balanced lifestyle on their own. We want to show them that they have the power to make real changes, that every small step counts, and that they can find within themselves the courage to pursue their dreams, no matter the challenges they face. We hope each young person leaves inspired, convinced that they can write their own story, filled with determination, balance, and self-care.

Our event aims to promote the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle among young people. Through a variety of interactive activities and the launch of the “Happy Teenager’s Guide: Nutrition, Movement, and Mental Health”, we seek to provide adolescents with the tools necessary to develop healthy habits and to cope with the unique challenges of their age. Developed by a team of experts in nutrition, psychology, and physical education, the guide offers practical information and expert advice on topics such as balanced nutrition, the benefits of regular physical exercise, and strategies for managing stress and negative emotions. Presented in an accessible and engaging manner, the guide aims to inspire young people to adopt an active lifestyle and cultivate a positive attitude towards their own health. This valuable resource is available free of charge.
