29 Oct Wonderlink: A professional journey for Romanian teachers and the Republic of Moldova
Wonderlink is a long-term professional exchange program (the Exchange Visitor Program – Teacher Category) created for teachers who are ready to grow, explore, and teach abroad. Designed by Lattice Global and InIm Institute, the program offers qualified educators the opportunity to live and work in the United States for between three and five years.
This isn’t a break from teaching—it’s a continuation of it, in a new context. Participants will teach full-time in U.S. K–12 schools in the states of Minnesota and New York, contribute their experience, and gain new tools, insights, and perspectives that they can later bring back home.
Wonderlink is for teachers who feel the need for a professional shift. For those who want to challenge themselves, embrace a new environment, and take part in a structured and responsible exchange, supported every step of the way.
Why Romania and the Republic of Moldova? Why now?
Romanian and Moldavian educators have consistently demonstrated high levels of professional dedication, adaptability, and interest in international collaboration. Many teachers are now actively looking for opportunities to step outside the familiar and invest in their own growth, without stepping away from their profession.
Wonderlink was designed as a direct response to that desire. It offers an experience that builds on existing strengths: solid training, strong English skills, and a deep commitment to students and learning.
This program offers the chance to expand your professional journey while staying grounded in your identity as an educator. It opens the door to new perspectives, experiences, and growth, without asking you to leave behind who you are or what you value.
What the program offers
Wonderlink is a multi-year professional pathway. Participants will teach full-time in a U.S. public or charter K–12 school for a minimum of three years, with the option to extend up to five years. They will receive the same rights, professional recognition, and compensation as U.S. teachers.
Participants will also have the opportunity to relocate with their families (spouse and children up to 21 years old) and will have access to ongoing professional development, mentorship, and personal guidance from Romanian teachers who have previously participated in similar programs in the U.S. Additionally, before departure, all participants will take part in a certified well-being training offered by InIm Institute, providing them with scientifically proven tools and techniques to help them navigate the challenges of living and working in a new country more easily.
Why join Wonderlink?
The program provides a supported professional transition into life and teaching in the U.S., guided by teachers with experience in U.S. teacher exchanges. Participants will be exposed to new methods, tools, and school cultures that can enrich their future practice. It is a meaningful experience that contributes to both professional and personal renewal, offering the opportunity to live with family and learn in an intercultural environment while respecting the complexities of teaching in diverse contexts.
The program has been designed with intention and a long-term vision, creating real opportunities for dedicated teachers to explore new directions in their careers. Every stage—from recruitment and placement to ongoing support—reflects a deep respect for the teaching profession and a strong belief in the value of international experience for professional development.
